The Vision
Transportation Futures
Our team was recently lucky enough to stumble upon an artifact from the future, what appears to be pages from a history textbook. The pages describe how our transportation system shifts from being car-dependent to a diverse system utilizing many different modes. It also describes an idea that is just now becoming popular, the “15 Minute City.” We have not been able to determine an exact date as to when these pages have come from, but our team hopes this future comes soon.

15 Minute City
The Plan of Action
How we can achieve this vision of the future
- Act at the local level by: Joining a local bicycle advocacy group, figuring out a trip you can replace with a bike/walk/bus ride, advocating for walk/bike days at your work, etc.
- Act at the state leve byl: Contacting your state transportation department/state representative and ask them to spend more on active transportation/transit, join your state transportation advocacy group, etc.
- Act at the national level by: Contacting your congressional representative, follow these national advocacy groups - T4America, Safe Routes to School, League of American Bicyclists
